1. Introduction
Welcome to Endorsed ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. When you use our website (our "Service"), we collect and manage user data according to the following Privacy Policy.
2. Data Collected
We collect various types of information in connection with the Services, including:
- Information you provide directly to us;
- Information we collect about your use of our Services; and
- Information we obtain from third-party sources.
We may also collect information that you provide us when creating an account or using our Service such as username, email, and password. When you authenticate via a social media account, we may collect information that you have agreed to make available such as your name, email address, profile picture, and public profile information. If you purchase our services, we may also collect your credit card information and billing address.
For IP (Intellectual Property) protection services, we may require you to provide relevant trademark numbers, company names, and other related documentation. This data is used solely for providing you with our IP protection services and is stored securely in accordance with this policy.
3. Use of the Data
We only use your personal information to provide you with the Service or to communicate with you about the Service or the website. We employ industry-standard techniques to protect against unauthorized access to data about you that we store, including personal information. We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless doing so is necessary to provide the Service or comply with the law.
4. Cookies
We use "cookies" to collect information about you and your activity across our site. A cookie is a small piece of data that our website stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our site and serve you content based on preferences you have specified.
5. Third-Party Access to Information
We use third-party services for:
- Analytics tracking
- User authentication
- Advertising and promotion
- Content marketing
- Email marketing
- Payment processing
These services may access our data solely for the purpose of performing specific tasks on our behalf. We do not share any personally identifying information with them without your explicit consent. We do not give them permission to disclose or use any of our data for any other purpose.
6. Google User Data
Our Service integrates with Google APIs to enhance the functionality of our services. In the process, we may access, use, store or share some of your information associated with your Google account, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We use Google API services for features like authentication, creating valuations from your YouTube analytic data, controlling your YouTube channel banner image for the purpose of automatic campaign running and pulling basic YouTube channel data for your channels profile on our platform. When you choose to connect your Google account with our Service, we request certain permissions to access this data. But we only collect and use the minimal amount of data that we need to provide and improve our services.
For example, if you use Google to sign into our Service, we will collect and store your name and email address to create and manage your account. We do not have access to your Google password, and we do not store data that we don't need. We handle this data in compliance with Google's Limited Use Requirements.
All sensitive information that we store in Endorsed databases, such as refresh tokens and API tokens are stored as an encrypted string to minimise risk to your account. We need to store these so that we can run our automatic campaign activities such as pushing new YouTube banner images or pulling campaign analytic reports, without you being present on the platform.
You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings. However, please note that we may retain the data we collected from your Google account as described in our data retention policy.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or other requirements.
Upon expiry of the applicable data retention period, or when you request us to do so, we will securely delete or anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be linked back to you. We may continue to use such anonymized and aggregated data for statistical and analytical purposes.
8. Changes to the Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy is indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Privacy Policy. All changes are effective immediately upon posting. Please review this Privacy Policy frequently to stay updated on changes that may affect you.
